Call me Kristy, pronouns they/them. That’s just one of many names I use, to be sure; I have a number of them that I consider comfortable in different contexts, and I might wear dozens of faces over the course of any given tabletop campaign. In this context, this is the name that matters. I’m a white fat queer trans autistic non-binary femme person living in the unceded lands of the Duwamish and Coast Salish peoples, Treaty of Point Elliott, Turtle Island. game hen games is my passion project.
I discovered role-playing games when I was six years old; I started running campaigns in high school. Sometimes my friends and I would use rules. Sometimes we just agreed okay, this is how the story goes. In the thirty-plus years since then, I’ve experimented with many different game systems, settings, and genres. I’ve run hundreds of hours of campaigns for dozens of people. I’ve built a philosophy of storycraft that I think resonates with a lot of people.
